My friend, Joe I will try to be brief. I decided to raise a round off many of the birds I handled in the 2009 I.F. Race. "61 POLIDORO 2009 IF BC H"' is the Dam of "400 and 399 NWJ 2010 IF" both were born on Feb 15 both were clocked and did well with "400" coming in 5th in the LCM Race and 2nd Auction bird. "399" was 5th in the QCM Race just 1min and 15 seconds off the win. "10 POLIDORO 2009 IF BB H" is the Dam of "397 NWJ 2010 IF BB C" born on March 2, 2010. "397" not only won the SKY Club in the first race of Y.B.'s he topped the CJC vs. 2,396 birds from 153 lofts. He also won another club race in the SKY club and was also 5th in another SKY Club race.
We received one kit of birds from you I kept one for myself, 77 POLIDORO 2010 IF WHITE GRIZZLE HEN, who flew the YB season and is resting and awaiting O.B.'s. My brother Tim, Shiloh Loft kept a couple with "60 POLIDORO 2010 IF BB H" taking 1ST place in the QCM 2010 FUTURITY vs. 340 birds from 46 lofts. We let my other brother, John of J.Kash Roofing Loft have the rest with "73 POLIDORO 2010 IF BC C" was his 1st bird on a tough 300 coming in 61st in the CJC vs.1,783 birds from 166 lofts helping him win 5TH Place Avg. Speed of the CJC and 3rd in the North Section behind his brothers, Shiloh and Whitehall Lofts. The best I am saving for last! "68 PLOIDORO 2010 IF BB H" made my brother's season winning 2nd in the G.E. Turkey Race #2 and then in the last race of the year, G.E. Turkey Race #3 "68" aka "JOE POLI", (short for Joespine Polidoro because she is a hen) won 1st! You are only as good as your last race and the smile on Johnny's face is forever planted in my mind.
